What we do with partners
Training and facilitated workshops
Intersectionality and lived experience training, inclusive leadership, trauma informed practice and The Autistic Standard for managers, organisations and boards. Designed and delivered by lived experience professionals, in the room, built around your policies and your people.
Education and curriculum
Learning design for inclusion: curriculum, facilitator guides and assessment built on how adults learn, and on how autistic and neurotypical people learn differently. For schools, universities, registered training organisations and workplaces.
Community consultation and focus groups
Consultation through The Praxis Framework: trauma informed, culturally safe and led by community voice. Focus groups, consultation workshops, interviews and surveys, and the translation of what communities say into policy.
Research and insights
Mixed method studies, stakeholder mapping, environmental scanning and impact measurement, embedded in delivery so the findings change the work rather than sit in a report.
Co design and human centred design
Design thinking, workshops and prototyping with the people a service is for, so what is built fits real conditions. Services, policies and programs designed with their users, not for them.
Strategy, policy and frameworks
Theories of change, implementation roadmaps, policy reform guidance and inclusion frameworks for governance and leadership, written to hold up under public accountability.
We partner with businesses, government agencies and community organisations on the work that shapes whether people belong. We bring practitioner expertise grounded in lived experience and a published body of work that partners can hold us to.
The work is human, not digital. We sit in rooms with boards, staff, members and communities. We teach, facilitate, consult, research and co design. The subject is always the same: how an organisation treats people, and what changes when it decides to do better. Our practice centres autistic and neurodivergent people, women and gender diverse people, LGBTIQA+ people, people with disability, migrants and First Nations people, and everyone who lives at more than one of those intersections at once.
How we work
Every engagement runs on The Ethos Method, a five phase delivery model: listen deeply, co design solutions, deliver with excellence, measure impact, and build capacity so the work continues after we leave. Where engagement has to be deep, inclusive and culturally safe, we add The Praxis Framework, a model for community consultation developed over years of practice between Just Gold and the Foundation. Its principles are intersectionality, cultural and historical intelligence, trauma informed practice, community voice and leadership, accessibility across all formats, and intergenerational and cross sector insight.
We bring the theory with us. Intersectionality as Crenshaw and Hill Collins wrote it, not as a diversity slogan. Human centred design as a discipline, with the people a service is for in the room when it is designed. Adult learning and instructional design that works for autistic and neurotypical learners alike.
Sector specific implementation of The Autistic Standard
The Autistic Standard is published openly because public safety is not paywalled. Putting it to work inside a regulated sector is different: that is consulting, and it is paid. With Just Gold we are developing implementation guides for healthcare, education, policing and emergency response, NDIS regulated disability services, and child protection, out of home care and corrections.
